Secondhand Gypsy Caravans

From time to time, we acquire an original gypsy wagon which, time permitting, we restore to it's former glory, or sell 'as is' for someone to take on as a project.

For Sale - Open Lot Bow Top Gypsy Caravan

This is what is known as an open lot bow top caravan because the front weather sheets can be removed to reveal a completely open front, giving a much lighter interior and better view from within than on a ‘doors and windows’ bow top caravan.

It sits on pretty unders with numerous carved chamfers to the woodwork and artillery wheels which have new tyres fitted together with a road brake.  There is a pan box to the rear and a sound pair of shafts.  The unders, pan box and shafts are painted in traditional primrose yellow.

The roof canvas appears to be recently fitted and is in good condition.

The body is painted in a deep burgundy red with some of the chamfers to the front and side weatherboards picked out in canary yellow with off white lining.  There are further carved chamfers that would benefit from being highlighted in a similar way.

The interior is bright and roomy with a bed which extends to 3’6” wide and 6’2” long and cupboards and drawers below.  There are areas of seating all with opening storage lockers underneath and a large central cupboard down the right hand side providing a useful table surface.

There is a further tall cupboard to the left.
The interior is all painted in burgundy with many carved chamfers to the timberwork.

This is a good, sound, dry caravan that is ready to use right away, but would, we feel, benefit from a little tidying up and a few more artistic flourishes!

For Sale - Reading style caravan

This is a second hand Reading style caravan built by ourselves about 18 months ago.

It is our standard design with wardrobe, fireplace area, single bed which extends to a double measuring 4’6” wide x 6’0” long, with children’s den/sleeping area below, pull out table, seating with storage under, together with further cupboards and shelves.

It is finished in a soft red, olive green and golden umber with stained wood axle cases, steps and flooring.
